When people are behaving...I totally agree with you. When people are behaving in a way that is hurtful to others, I look behind the behaviour into what they must be feeling. This always leads me to compassion for the person who doesn't feel 'good enough' or loved enough or whatever enough! It also usually leads me to gratitude that I DO feel good enough , loved enough and everything enough.<br />We all must assume that our parents did the best job they could do with the information available to them at the time. No parents intentionally make their kids lives miserable - they think they're doing the best they can do. Have a look at the way your parents were parented. This usually alters your perspective. Their parents were their role models.
